Since BYD Auto’s launch in 2022, there have been non-stop accolades across multiple segments as the model offering  has expanded in NZ. See a rundown of the numerous BYD Auto New Zealand awards proudly earned over the years below.  There’s no signs of stopping!

Most recently the BYD DOLPHIN won Best BEV of the Year 2023 according to AA and Driven Car Guide, while also crowned as both the Best Value Car of the Year and the Eco Warrior Car of the Year by Drive Life. 

Overall the BYD DOLPHIN has been a standout with its Blade Battery technology, tailored offerings for different NZ audiences, high quality interior and regular OTA updates that keep getting better and better.

The recently launched BYD SEAL won the 2023 Medium Segment and EV of the Year from EV’s and Beyond as well as the Most Electrifying Car of the Year by NZ Autocar.  EVs and Beyond describes the BYD SEAL as an exceptional car that combines comfort, value, and appeal.
